Cub Scouts is for young people from both sexes aged between 8 and 10 1/2. The group of Cubs is known as a "Pack" and each young person will be a member of a "Six" within that Pack. As the young person develops through Cubs they may have the opportunity to be the "Sixer" or "Seconder" of their Six and have their first experience of managing other people!
The Cub Pack has an established leadership team with years of experience and offer a varied programme of games and activities. Outdoor activities form a key part of our programme and we offer two camping experiences each year - an outdoor camp under canvas in the summer and an indoor Pack holiday experience later in the Autumn / Winter months.
Cubs meet on a Tuesday night during the school terms.

Scouting is reliant on volunteers to run the different sections and there are a number of different roles available depending on your availability such as section leaders, section assistant leaders, section assistants, and occasional helpers.
